Classes

The goal of our classes is to provide a broad base of improv skills that could be applied to improv of any form - character, story line, and a sense for the environment. It is from these classes that we draw people into our performance troupe.

Level 1

Improv level 1 Classes – this class teaches the basics of improvisation through teamwork, development of characters, environments, and plot lines.

Level 2

Improv level 2 Classes – students in our level 2 classes learn advanced improvisation skills.  Students will learn additional aspects to developing characters, environments, and plot lines while also learning other concepts as well – including focus, status, justification, realism, etc.

Level 3

Improv level 3 Classes – This class focuses on various improv long- and mid-forms – the Herold, la ronde, collage, and many more.

Join our Performing Group- Auditions are held several times a year. If you are interested in trying out to perform at the Idiot Box, come on down. No headshots required, no resumes, and nothing needs to be prepared. Idiot Box training is highly recommended - most successful auditions are with graduates from our training classes.
